On the evening of Tuesday, June 17, 2025, two off-duty firefighter-paramedics from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) were the first on scene after a single-vehicle ATV rollover involving a minor in the Antelope Meadows subdivision of Prescott Valley, Arizona.
The off-duty responders quickly assessed the patient’s condition and provided immediate care, offering calm reassurance until the arrival of Engine 59’s on-duty crew. The patient was later transported by Copperstate Ambulance to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
CAFMA commends the quick actions, steady presence, and professionalism of its off-duty members, whose commitment to helping others continues well beyond their scheduled shifts. In keeping with their character, the responders have asked not to be named, preferring instead to highlight the dedication of all CAFMA crews who serve our community every day.
