Clarification About 100% Design Contract

The October 28th City Council Voting Meeting agenda includes a vote for one of the design alternatives 100% Design Contracts. The current project design is 15% complete. Approval of a 100% Design Contract by Council will direct Public Works to continue design on one of the design alternatives to 100%. This includes progressing through 30%, 60%, and 90% design, following the City’s Capital Improvements Program protocol, before completing design at 100% with construction ready drawings and documents. The City anticipates it will take about one year to progress from 15% to 100% design.
