With the upcoming Presidential election, now appears to be the proper time to compare the two candidates, their positions and policies. Since Kamala Harris, at the time of this writing, hasn’t conveyed her policies and positions, either verbally or on her website, the only evidence of what she plans to do if elected, is what she said when she ran for the Democrat nomination in 2019 and what the stances were of the administration she was part of, as Vice President. Donald Trump, on the other hand, isn’t the least bit shy about stating what his positions are, and what he will do when elected President.

Inflation and the Economy

On the issue of the economy and inflation, Kamala has said that she wants to revitalize the middle class and lower prices for everyone. Her only proposal, so far, is to impose price controls. The fact that price controls have never worked in any government, no matter if it was capitalist, socialist or communist, didn’t stop her from making this promise.

The Democrat platform on which Harris is running, has several planks that are economy busting and inflation producing. One is raising the corporate tax to 28%, which is the highest in the industrial world. This would raise the price of every product produced by corporations. It would make US made products more expensive and harder to sell in other countries. They want to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, which will cause a loss in many service jobs and raise inflation. Kamala stated that she wants to give first time home buyers $25,000 toward a down payment. This will just increase the cost of every home by that amount. These are just the highlights of how she will ruin the economy.

Trump has made many statements on what he plans to do to boost the economy and drastically lower inflation. He will drill, he will frack, and quickly permit more natural gas drilling and exploration. This should rapidly lower the transportation costs of almost everything, thus lowering inflation. He would renew his tax cuts that he passed in his first Administration that produced so much growth in the economy. His previous policies kept the inflation rate way under 2%.

Which candidate’s proposals would hinder economic growth and increase inflation and which would stymie inflation and promote economic growth?

The Border and Immigration

In 2019, in response to a question if ICE should be abolished, Kamala said we should, “probably think about starting from scratch” on enforcing immigration laws. Even though entering our country without permission is a Federal misdemeanor, Kamala Harris thinks we should decriminalize entering our country illegally. She has said that we should create a path for these illegal immigrants to become citizens.

Donald Trump has stated that he wants to finish the wall, increase the number of ICE and Border Patrol agents and conduct the largest deportation program in American history. He wants to stop Federal tax dollars from going to any state or city that declares itself to be a sanctuary jurisdiction and refuses to cooperate with the federal government when dealing with illegal alien criminals.

Which policy would encourage more illegals coming to our country and which would discourage it?

Crime

The Democrat platform has a plank to overhaul the criminal justice system from “top to bottom”. This appears to be a nod toward “defunding the police” and putting that money toward “social justice” plans of action. In the Democrat jurisdictions that have implemented these and other reforms such as cashless bail and lowering many felonies to misdemeanors, crimes like shoplifting, auto burglaries, thefts, and carjackings are rampant. Violent crime, including murder have also risen under Biden/Harris. Their platform also calls for the passage of a domestic terrorist law with the express purpose to combat violence by “bigots anti-Semites, Islamophobes, and white supremacists”. There are already laws to protect everyone against violence and “hate crime” laws to protect special groups.

Trump wants to work against Soros’ funded Attorney Generals and District Attorneys who don’t enforce enacted laws and allow criminals to continue to commit crimes while out on cashless bail. He wants to stop sending federal tax money to states and cities that will not hand over illegal immigrant criminals to Federal authorities. Sanctuary cities and states would have to comply or lose millions in federal aid.

Which side’s crime implementations have worked and which greatly increased all crime?

Abortion

Abortion may be a key issue for many women and the Harris/Walz campaign is emphasizing it, but they are lying and clouding the issue with false claims. The Dems claim that Trump wants to ban all abortions nationwide since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade.

What Trump has said is that it is up to each state and its voters to decide. This is the correct Constitutional/Federalist position that allows fifty diverse approaches to a complicated issue. At least one or more of these states will give the best answer to this emotional, complex subject.

Which party’s idea gives the voters freedom and which cedes that freedom to an oligarchy of unelected federal judges?

Education

The primary and high school scores of American students have been declining for decades. The only way both Republicans and Democrats have addressed the problem is to throw more and more money at schools. The Department of Education, (DOE), has only made matters worse, which is not surprising since all problems are better handled locally, rather than from Washington. The Democrats always defend the DOE while many Republicans want to eliminate it.

Kamala and the Dems will continue to support the DOE and will follow whatever practices the Teachers Unions dictate, which means throwing more money at failing public schools.

Trump and the Republicans favor school choice which has proven successful. This means that the taxpayer money follows the students to either charter or private schools that the students’ parents decide.

Which party’s educational policies would continue the scholastic declines and which has been proven to improve learning?

Climate Change

If Kamala continues with Biden’s Green Agenda then the economic and technical status of our country will continue to decline. Clean coal, natural gas and nuclear power will be decreased or eliminated. All energy costs will go up. The only way the poor and even the middle class will be able to get heat or air conditioning will be if the government subsidies it. The price of electric vehicles will stay the same if the government continues to monetarily support them or cost more if they don’t. What now takes a gas or diesel vehicle 10 minutes to fill, will take Electric Vehicles an hour or more to quick charge. Mining the elements for the electric batteries is environmentally risky and makes us more dependent on the oppressive Communist Chinese.

The Democrats say their policies will slow global climate change caused by carbon, even though scientists say that if the US completely eliminated our carbon emissions, it would have little effect on the world climate, as long as China and India and other countries continue to produce much more emissions than we do.

Trump wants to drill, frack and use all energy sources including wind and solar to power our electrical grid and vehicles.

Which climate ideas would be better for the consumers, the environment and create more jobs for our citizens?

Cultural Issues

In their incessant attack on the nuclear family, Harris/Walz and the party of leftist loonies wants to prevent notification to parents of children who say they want to “transition” to the opposite sex. They don’t want the parents of students to decide what books should be in school libraries, regardless of how pornographic they may be. They want men who say they identify as female, to be able to use women’s restrooms and to compete in women’s sports. The Democrats have no problem, and in fact encourage, such perverse programs like “drag queen story hour.”

This is the polar opposite of what Trump Republicans believe, and they would oppose all of the above.

Which ideas are healthier for our children and our society in general? Which one defies the science of biology?

Military Affairs and Foreign Policy

A Harris/Walz regime would no doubt keep a “woke” force that would train our military personnel to care more about diverse racial differences, sexual preferences and not hurting feelings, than to train them to be an effective fighting force. Their policies have lowered standards for the sake of diversity. They have encouraged people who need psychological counseling to join the service so the government will pay for their transition to another sex.

A Trump/Vance administration would strengthen all elements of our military, and return to previous or increased standards, so that the rest of the world would again respect us.

The Biden/Harris foreign policies emitted weakness and inspired our enemies to test our resolve in the Ukraine, the Middle East, and the China Sea. Like most Democrat positions, the Biden/Harris answer to these problems is to throw money we don’t have at them. We still don’t know where millions of dollars we sent to Ukraine are. There is no reason to believe Kamala and Tim would do anything different.

In Trump’s first term our enemies rarely tried us and when they did, they paid the price like Iranian Soleimani and ISIS leader Baghdadi. Trump believes in peace through strength and he led that way when he was president the first time and will again.

Which of these potential presidents would make our country and all Americans more economically stable and safer at home, in our cities, on our streets and in the world? Which candidate would improve our student’s educational skills? Which of the two would respect the traditions of our Western Civilization that led us to be the most advanced and wealthiest country in world history, and which would lead us into a cultural chaos where no one can define what a woman is?
