Who Is Really Trying To Destroy Our Constitution? – Buz Blog

While the Democrats are always opaque in their words and their meanings, they are actually very easy to understand. Whatever they are accusing conservatives and Republicans of doing, is what they are attempting or have already done. RINO Republicans, working in conjunction with Democrat appointed judges, Democrat presidents and legislators have been eroding our Constitutional rights for a very long time.

Senators and Congressional Representatives from both parties passed the so-called “Patriot Act” after September 11, 2001. This piece of legislation was supposed to protect us from terrorism. We were promised that it would be used against foreign terrorists and not against Americans. It wasn’t long before it was being used to violate Americans’ 4^th Amendment rights with wiretaps and other invasions of our rights, without the government getting a Constitutionally required warrant. This is a great example of Benjamin Franklin’s warning, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety”. 

President George W. Bush used such laws to stop press leaks, but to a much lesser extent than President Obama. In 2013, the Obama Administration seized the records of Associated Press phone lines, without prior notification, in an effort to stop whistle blower leaks. A few years later, Obama’s Justice Department conducted electronic surveillance of Fox News reporter James Rosen in an effort to find out who his news sources were. They even named him as an “unindicted co-conspirator. At the same time, Obama’s people were also electronically surveilling James Risen of the New York Times. These are blatant violations of the 1^st Amendment right to a free press and the 4^th Amendment right to be “secure…against unreasonable searches and seizures.” Wouldn’t these actions have a chilling effect on reporters who want to tell the public about government abuse of power or corruption?

The Biden regime violated the 6^th Amendment right to “a speedy and public trial”, for those nonviolent “January 6 insurrectionist”i as well as the 8^th Amendment right against “excessive bail” and cruel and unusual punishment. Biden officials also targeted Catholics, anti-abortion advocates and all religions during the COVID pandemic panic by closing churches and other houses of worship. All of these were violations of the 1^st Amendment, freedom of religion and expression.

Democrats in Congress, state governor offices and legislatures are continuously trying to abridge or abolish Americans’ 2^nd Amendment right “to keep and bear arms”. Whenever there is an active shooter or mass shooting anywhere, our leftist politicians and press harangue us about “common sense gun control”. They never, ever bring up a real common sense solution of placing mentally ill persons in the mental hospitals that they helped to abolish. The only thing their so-called common sense gun control would accomplish would be to deprive sane, law abiding people the right to defend themselves from the criminals and the violent mentally ill they have unleashed on society.

So, the next time anyone wants to rant about how Trump and the MAGA Republicans are destroying our Constitution, remember that they are only saying this because that is what they have done and are trying to do.
