On Friday, December 29th, at approximately 12:49 P.M. officers responded to a three-vehicle injury collision in the 900 block of White Spar Rd.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned that a 2022 Ford truck, being operated by a 49-year-old Tonopah resident, was traveling north on White Spar Rd when it crossed into oncoming traffic just before Cheery Street. The vehicle collied with a 2008 Ford F-550 that was traveling south, then with a 2010 Ford Sedan which had also been traveling south on White Spar.
The force of the collision caused heavy damage to all the vehicles involved. The Prescott Fire Department had to extricate the driver of the at-fault vehicle and transported him to YRMC where he was then flown to a Phoenix area hospital in stable condition. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported. The roadway was closed for approximately two hours for the investigation and clean up. Impairment is not suspected.
