On October 14, 2024, at approximately 7:40pm, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred at Stoneridge on State Route 69.
The incident occurred when the motorcycle entered oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. Emergency responders arrived shortly after the accident and provided immediate medical assistance. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the motorist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The road was temporarily closed while authorities investigated and cleared the scene. It has since reopened to traffic.
Our thoughts are with those injured and their families. We urge all drivers to remain vigilant and practice safe driving habits. The Prescott Valley Police Department places great value on human life and the safety of our community. Motorcycle safety remains a critical concern, and Prescott Valley Police urge all riders to prioritize safety by wearing helmets and protective gear and adhering to all traffic laws.
