Opinion: Why Ruin A Perfectly Good Country? – Buz Williams

Why would anyone want to destroy our nation? Until the last couple of years, we had made a comeback. We had become energy independent. After years of a shrinking middle class, it was growing again. Real wages were increasing. Crime was continuing to decrease. The workforce was growing. Unemployment was lower, especially for minorities and women. Our military was getting stronger. Our border was closing to people who wanted to enter our country illegally. The United States was again starting to look like the “Shining City on the Hill”.

So the question remains, why would anyone, let alone our fellow Americans, want to destroy our country? This was a nation that provided the most access to upward economic mobility. This country allowed it citizens to criticize the government and our leaders. Our Constitution allowed our people the freedom of thought, expression, press and religion. No other country had ever done that before.

There is only one logical reason to ruin a country. It is if those attempting to do that believe there is a better way. What is the “better way” that these progressive people want? It looks like what this group of fundamental reformers want is globalism. Everything points in the direction that progressive Democrats and some Rhino Republicans would much prefer that the United States should be part of a global government. What else would explain the attack on our freedom of speech, the nuclear family, the safety of our citizens and our cultural mores?

In order to “fundamentally change” America, you first have to tear it down, cause confusion among the people and create anarchy. A country can only be rebuilt after it is torn down. How is that done? First, the foundation of the government must be eroded. Our foundation is the US Constitution. If it is a “living, breathing” document, it is not a foundation at all, it is whatever the interpreter of the Constitution wants it to be. So the fundamental freedoms that document grants have to be worn away.

How is that accomplished? As far as Freedom of Speech is concerned, limitations have to be imposed. So called “hate speech” has to be curtailed. “Hate speech” is whatever those in power say it is. They will use the specious argument that “hate speech” must be eliminated so as not to offend marginalized people. They fail to point out that no matter what anyone says, at any time, someone, somewhere, will be offended. Those in power will get to decide what is offensive, or what is disinformation and this enables them to restrict any opposition to their views.

Another cornerstone of our society is the nuclear family. How would those who want to fundamentally change our country attack the nuclear family? They would first make parents, particularly fathers, appear to be stupid, inept, racist, misogynistic, homophobic or all of the above in TV shows, movies and other media outlets, Then they would attempt to take away parental rights, such as deciding what their children can learn in school what medicine and medical procedures their children can receive. If a mother and father aren’t allowed to parent, then the state and the schools become the parents.

Next, the citizens’ safety must be attacked. How is that accomplished? On a national level, the military must be emasculated. This can be realized by decreasing the size of the military. For instance, eliminating military personnel who won’t take a vaccine, or emphasizing “woke” training that has nothing to do with the main mission of our armed forces. No wonder our fighting men and women are refusing to reenlist and fewer and fewer recruits are enlisting for the first time.

On a personal level, the progressive change artists would make individuals feel unsafe by purposefully increasing crime. This is done by electing District and Prosecuting Attorneys who refuse to charge criminals with their crimes or greatly reducing their sentence. States passing laws that allow criminals out of jail without the requirement of cash bail would also greatly increase crime.

The fundamental changers would have to attack our cultural mores. To achieve this, they would have to attempt to normalize aberrant, degenerate behavior. They could do this by making it appear that transvestites and transsexuals are normal instead of a minuscule minority. These groups would be cast as victims of a phobic society rather than misguided, maladjusted individuals who need psychological help.

All of the above may sound like a conspiracy theory, but it is all actually happening. Those in power in our local, state and federal government, and in our news and entertainment media are surely working to see that it happens. If it is not to push a global, one world government, then WHY are they doing it?
