Fear: The Left’s Most Used Weapon – Buz Blog

Fear can motivate. Fear can paralyze. Fear can be used as a tool to control the masses. History shows that tyrants, dictators and oligarchs have used fear to keep their populations under their dominance. One might think that fear could not be used effectively to control people in a Constitutional republic, but that thinking has proved wrong.

Fear of the COVID 19 virus, enhanced by Dr. Anthony Fauci and a fawning mainstream media, caused the majority of Americans to self-quarantine, wear ineffective masks and close businesses, restaurants, churches and schools. To add to the fear, many of those who resisted these draconian rules were arrested, jailed and fined.

The results were catastrophic. Many died as a result of these rules. A great many senior parents and grandparents were forced to die alone because their loved ones were not allowed to visit them. Suicides increased because of this government imposed loneliness. School aged children and teenagers are still suffering from the lack of education and interpersonal connections made in schools. High school proms, homecoming dances, formal graduations and other social events were canceled. Many businesses and restaurants went bankrupt or were forced to close, causing enormous financial burdens. Our economy tanked and Biden’s policies stoked inflation.

We must face the fact that we were controlled by the fear the government pressed on us. This wasn’t the first time in recent history that governmental fear was foisted upon us. Remember climate fear. It started as global warming and then altered into climate change. Other, earlier attempts, (nuclear winter, acid rain, etc.), to use fear to encourage Americans to change their life style, didn’t have their desired effects.

Climate change, however, created enough fear to cause drastic economic and political panic. It was presented as an “existential threat” to the environment of the earth. Al Gore, Congresswoman AOC and other climate alarmists, have made predictions of catastrophic results if we didn’t reduce our use of fossil fuels. None of these predictions have or will ever come to pass. The result of these false predictions, is that those that made them look like laughable buffoons to thinking adults. Except for mindless sheeple, who would believe anything they say or propose now?

One of the worst things that those who encourage fear can do, is to motivate easily manipulative people into doing evil things. Roman poet Ovid stated, what to most, is a realistic observation, “Everyone wishes that the man whom he fears would perish.” When Democrats, media pundits, socialist, communists and commentators on social media call Trump, “Hitler”, “Stalin”, a racist, a white supremacist, or an existential threat to democracy, they are knowingly encouraging the crazies in their movement to attempt to assassinate the president. How many assassinations of President Trump have been attempted? When they called Charlie Kirk homophobic and transphobic, they consciously wanted one of their demented followers to silence him. One did. Unfortunately, fear has worked for them again.
