All this fearmongering about running out of water is just crap. We live in a desert, so of course we need to conserve. But the oceans are full of water, and we know how to desalinate. Twenty years from now, we’ll have more fresh water than today.
WATER is not funny in Arizona; it’s political and dark. Local media is in bed with the “power” brokers, so news about water problems are not spoken in public. Greed is pervasive in the home building leadership only needing a greed driven land owner and a mayor and council majority to make it happen. Cooperating will be well paid staff led by a strong mayor and/or a strong city-town manager.
It takes an alert-involved group working in opposition to grow awareness and hopefully make a difference in the elections. And WE have a BIG water problem.
I thought editorial cartoons were a thing of the past. But you’ve cleverly revived the art form. Keep it up!
I know someone who belongs to their club. There is a Satanic quality about their worship of the earth. You get the idea that they like trees more than people.
Clearly Mr. Cirro you don’t know Tom Steele of Prescott Valley or Mayor Phil Goode of Prescott as we are both members. Yes, most CWAG members are liberal Democrats but they are serious conservationists that encourage true knowledge of the water cycle and the massive loss of available water by over building homes in the desert.
