No problem can be solved until it is acknowledged that there is a problem. With the historic rebuff of the Democrat party in the election on November 5, the party whose symbol is a donkey, seems to be acting like a herd of stone deaf jackasses. Introspection does not appear to be a word in their dictionary. Listening to the Democrats and their mouthpieces in the corporate media, one would think that their problem was that the majority of American voters are suffering from racism, sexism and misogyny. The irony is that the left is so myopic that they can’t see that those accusations were, in no small part, the reason this election was so one-sided against them.

This is a case study of failing to admit that they, the Democrats, have a problem. Instead of acknowledging that the vast majority of the American people have rejected their political and cultural policies, the Democrats and their legacy media surrogates, are pointing fingers at the voters for being biased against minorities, women, gays and transgenders. Unless they start to recognize that the problem is with them, and the positions they take, the Democrats will continue to espouse an agenda that the voters will continue to reject.

During the last campaign, they must have realized how unpopular their view of transitioning minors, without parental consent was. The Democrats had to know the public’s rejection of biological men competing in women’s sports was overwhelming. The public knew that the border was completely open, despite the Democrats continued statements that it was under control. The citizens knew inflation was rampant, regardless of what the Democrat media told them about it being “transitory” and lessening.

This is why Kamala Harris was tutored and scripted with responses like, “I will follow the law,” or “we have more work to do,” or “I was raised in a middle class family”. If she had given a direct response to difficult questions, the Republicans would have videos of her past remarks that would show her to be a liar or a flipflop.

It should be easy for the Democrats to admit they have a major problem with the electorate after suffering such a historic defeat in both the popular and electoral vote counts. They should stop accusing the American voters of all kinds of prejudice and hostility toward others. They need to examine their own party. For most of the last century, the Democrat party was the dominate party. They espoused the tradition of family, country and Western Civilization. That was why the Democrats virtually owned most of the middle class vote.

There used to be Democrat politicians who were pro life. Some of their party leaders were in the NRA. There used to be Democrat presidents who deported millions of illegal aliens. There was once a Democrat party that was pro police, pro law and order, and voted for laws that were intended to keep the American people safe. Democrats once considered flying the American flag from our homes, a show of patriotism, and not a display of radical nationalism. If the Democrats acknowledge that they have a problem, or more precisely, many problems, they can start to correct them. If they do, then maybe, in the future they will return to the mainstream of political thinking.
