Yavapai County has announced the appointment of Tyler Goodman as Assistant County Manager, effective July 26, 2024. Goodman brings extensive experience from his tenure at the City of Prescott, where he served in various leadership roles, including Interim City Manager and Deputy City Manager since 2016.
Goodman joined the city in 2016 after completing a church mission in Argentina and earning degrees in political science from Brigham Young University and public administration from Arizona State University. He is a member of the International City/County Manager Association and the Arizona City/County Manager Association.
Yavapai County Manager Maury Thompson stated, “I know Tyler will be a great asset for the county as he has been for the city. I am confident he’ll be an excellent leader, and a great addition as we continue to move the County forward.”
