Be careful what you ask for because sometimes you get it. The State Transportation Board met in Prescott Valley this morning and voted unanimously to approve the contract bid to completely replace Hwy 69 from Stoneridge Dr. to Truwood Dr.
This will involve tearing up what’s left of the existing asphalt, rebuilding the base and applying new asphalt. The project is expected to last 120 days with work being done mainly at night. As you can imagine there will be some delays to travel and patience will be neccesary to make it through the construction area with a smile on your face.
The project will begin late Spring/early Summer. Stay tuned for updates as the project gets closer to commencement
