CAFMA and Prescott Fire Department crews were working a large scrap metal pile fire at Yavapai Metal Recycling in Dewey, Arizona. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office evacuated nearby businesses as a precaution.
Firefighters are actively protecting surrounding structures, and a wildland team is monitoring the area. The fire has not spread to the nearby wildland exposure or adjacent businesses. There have been no reported injuries.
