The left, especially the radical left, always accuses their political opponents of doing exactly what they are doing. The most obvious current example is the complete fiction of claiming that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas Palestinians invaded Israel from Gaza and killed, raped, tortured and kidnapped Israeli and other Jews of different nationalities, including Americans. An estimated 1200 people were killed, most of them civilians. Two hundred and fifty-one Israelis, and some Americans were kidnapped and held as hostages.

Many women were tortured and raped, parents were killed in front of their children, children were killed in front of their parents. Live babies were put into ovens and roasted alive. This wasn’t a military action, it was an act of hatred and barbarity. Many of these acts were videoed by the Hamas criminals and put on the net by joyful Hamas cutthroats. It is a lot easier to joyfully commit these atrocities if the victims aren’t considered human by the savages who would commit such horrors. This is what Palestinians and their children have been taught since Hamas took over Gaza in 2006. If this wasn’t an act of genocide, what was it? Is there any documented evidence of Israelis doing anything at all like this to Palestinians? If there was, Hamas apologists and their allies in the media, would be airing this all day, every day.

Hamas Palestinians sent suicide bombers into Israel targeting civilians. They sent rockets into Israel to kill civilians. Isn’t openly targeting civilians an essential component of genocide?

Hamas spent billions of dollars to build military grade tunnels. They purposely put the entrances and exits to these tunnels under hospitals, schools and Mosques, so that when Israelis were forced to attack them, the collateral damage would be their own Palestinian children, doctors, nurses and Muslim clerics. Blaming one’s enemies for deaths and crimes they have committed or caused, has historically been a tool of those who commit genocide.

Once they were in power, Hamas never allowed elections. Genocide is almost always perpetrated in two areas: where there are tyrannical dictatorships, or in areas where anarchy and chaos reign.

On the other hand, what have the Israelis done that could be considered acts of genocide? Here are some facts from historian Victor Davis Hanson.

– No Israeli troops or officials had been in Gaza since 2006.

– Israel supplies the majority of water, fuel and power to Gaza.

– Many more Palestinian civilians were tortured and/or killed by Hamas because they were thought to oppose Hamas.

– Despite Israeli civilians being the targets of Palestinian Hamas, the Israeli military never targeted civilian Palestinians, and Israeli soldiers have been prosecuted on those rare occasions when it did occur.

It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to attempt genocide without a military force, a large civilian militia and an antagonistic majority population in the area targeted. Almost always, genocide is committed by a majority population against a minority population. In 2023, Gaza had a population of 2.08 million Palestinians. It is hardly surprising that there were NO Jews living there. In Israel at that time, there were over 7 million Jews and 2.3 million Palestinians. Despite their numerical advantage, the Israelis have never rounded up Palestinians living in Israel, or created internment or concentration camps. One would have to conclude that if the Israelis were committing race extermination of Palestinians in Israel, Gaza or anywhere else, they are pretty inept at it.

Worldwide, there are between two and two and a half billion Muslims. If only one or two percent of them are radical Islamists, that is between 20 and 40 million. There are about 16 million people in the world who identify as Jews and as much as 8 million more who have Jewish ancestry. It would appear that since Jews are under attack here in the US, England, France, and many other countries, that if any group is the target of genocide, it is the Jews.

It is painfully obvious that those who spout the fallacy that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians, are either ignorant of the facts, indoctrinated or brainwashed against the truth, and/or are antisemitic. When such a group of morally bankrupt, ideological influenced, fellow travelers spout such phrases as “From the river to the sea”, they are calling for the extermination of all Israeli Jews from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean sea, in other words, all of Israel. That is a conspicuous call for real genocide.
