Senior Bella Abt scored 25 points to lead the Prescott Lady Badgers to a 65-12 thumping over the Lee Williams Lady Volunteers on senior night.

Bella Abt said, “I’m really proud of everybody. We all came out and did a good job being aggressive and doing what we have done all season. It was really exciting seeing everyone being able to contribute.”

It was not the typical lineup that started for Prescott as all five seniors appeared on the court for the opening tipoff. Addie Prisciandaro joined Abt as the only season long starter, with Ashlyn Luedeman, Audrey Islas and Daria Young. Prisciandaro finished with 19 and Luedeman had 2.

Lee Williams held a brief 4-2 lead before the Lady Badgers took control to lead 15-4 at the end of the first quarter. Prescott pitched a shutout in the second quarter and Abt and Prisciandaro did most of the damage as the Lady Badgers led 33-4 at the half.

Prescott outscored Lee Williams 32-8 in the second half to win their 12th straight by 53 points.

Up next for #2 Prescott is a trip to #5 Flagstaff to see it the Lady Badgers can win the region outright. A Prescott loss would create a tie and co-champions of the region. On January 14 the Lady Badgers snapped the Flagstaff Lady Eagles Grand Canyon Region win streak at 103 with a 46-40 win in Prescott.
