The City of Prescott knows how important the Effluent & Wastewater Pipelines and SR89 Improvements Project is to our community. We’ve heard from many residents who care deeply about this project and its impact on Prescott’s future.
After reviewing feedback from the recent Open House and Public Hearings, Mayor Goode has postponed the vote on the 100% design contract until the new City Council has been sworn in. This brief pause gives everyone an opportunity to move forward together, with fresh perspectives and continued community dialogue.
We appreciate our residents for staying engaged and sharing their thoughts. Your input helps guide our decisions and ensures we are building a future that reflects Prescott’s shared values.

Good for Goode! Yea, growth begets destroyed or the damaged beautiful historic dells. What about future water supplies? Our high desert – semi arid weather is wonderful for modern living, however, statistics show we are pumping ancient water deposited thousands of years ago. Current below 14-15 inches of precipitation per year will not replace the massive pumping of the past 30-40 years. Be concerned. Question your elected officials and candidates on our water issues. Greedy developers and large ranchers have more influence in politics than we do as residents. Get active. Fight for the future.
