On the Badgers second possession James Hefferin connected with Kenny Miller-Terry on a 29 yard pass play for a 7-0 lead. Nick Phillips pulled in a four yard pass from Heffrin to make it 13-0 after one quarter.

The drive stalled right there forcing a punt. Whitwell’s punt dropped and rolled and ended up at the Eagles 2 yard line. The Eagles picked up a first down, but then punted the ball back to Prescott, who returned it to the Flagstaff 39.

After the Badgers blocked a field goal attempt by Gael Castruita of Flagstaff, the Badgers had a touchdown pass called back due to a penalty, then ultimately punting the ball back to the Eagles.
