Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group’s new general surgery clinic in Prescott Valley is now officially open. The new clinic, which will provide pre-and post-operative care and various in-office procedures, is an expansion of YRMG’s general surgery clinic located in Prescott.
This follows the opening of a sports medicine clinic at the same facility and the addition of four new general surgeons on the West campus within the last year, bringing more medical care to the community.
“The new clinic will provide more specialized care in our community so that residents don’t have to travel long distances for care,” says Dignity Health Arizona Physician Enterprise Market President Viren Bavishi, DO. “We are proud of our expansion efforts to keep health care local and make positive impacts for the health of our community.”
The clinic is staffed with four surgeons who recently joined Dignity Health: Dr. Shane Moore, Dr. Alexandra Weston, Dr. Shane Monnett, and Dr. Jeffrey Aguiar. All four are trained in robotic surgery.
“We are thrilled to be able to now offer outpatient general surgery services to patients at both YRMC campuses,” says YRMG clinic manager Susi Hinojosa. “This will make for a healthier, happier community.”
The clinic is located at 7700 East Florentine Road, Building B, Suite 203.
