Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) continues to give back to the community in a big way. Community grants were recently presented to several organizations who positively impact the local community. The grants were presented by Mark Domingo, YRMC Director of Mission and Community Health, and YRMC board members. A total of $239,000 in grant funding was given to seven awardees.

Every year, YRMC provides grants to non-profit organizations that support health care initiatives and work to improve the overall health of the community.

“YRMC is thrilled to provide support to local organizations who strive to improve the health of our community,” says Domingo. “We hope these grants will help make a positive impact for our residents.”

This year, YRMC gave grants to the following organizations:

  • Coalition for Compassion and Justice

  • Hushabye Nursery

  • International Mountain Bicycling Association/Prescott Mountain Bike Alliance

  • Prescott Community Cupboard Foodbank, Inc.

  • Manzanita Outreach

  • People Who Care

  • Prescott Free Clinic

Dignity Health YRMC is the largest not-for-profit community health care provider in the greater Prescott area, and provides grants to local organizations annually as part of the organization’s robust community benefit program.

  1. If the hospital is so “flush,” why didn’t they consider their appreciation by lowering their fees in “thanks” to the patients who try not to use them by staying healthy?
    Or….don’t patients count any longer?
