After a festive Fourth, the annual Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Parade took place Saturday morning on the streets of downtown Prescott.

Crowds gathered to enjoy the parade with its hundred plus entries, some handing out cold drinks, information pamphlets, and candy.

The theme for the 138th parade was “Women in Rodeo”, which saw many present and former rodeo participants riding in the parade including 96 year-old Grand Marshal honoree Nancy Sheppard.

Many civic groups were represented as the parade moved on by. One fan favorite were the Broken Spoke Clydesdales, who made the trip once again from Winfield, Kansas. Another was the Bill Williams Mountain Men, and the Prescott Regulators and Their Shady Ladies.

After the parade things continued in the downtown area with concerts, the Boot Race, along with the Rodeo Days Fine Arts & Crafts Show and the Rodeo Dance to close out the remainder of the day. It was a fun day for everybody enjoying another beautiful day in Prescott.
