Chino Valley is gearing up for the return of Territorial Days, September 4–7, 2026, bringing together some of our community’s favorite traditions for a full weekend of activities and family fun.
This year’s theme, “Get Your Kicks on Route 66!”, celebrates the 100th anniversary of Route 66 while also recognizing America’s 250th anniversary and Chino Valley’s history.
One of the weekend’s biggest traditions is the 39th Annual Territorial Days Parade, taking place Saturday, September 5. Local businesses, organizations, clubs, families and community groups are encouraged to join in and help make this year’s parade one to remember.
Parade applications are due Friday, August 28, and the entry fee is $30. Entries are encouraged to have fun with this year’s Route 66 theme and show off their Chino Valley community spirit.

In addition to the parade, Territorial Days weekend will feature a historical presentation, Movie in the Park, Lions Pancake Breakfast, 10K and 2-Mile Walk/Run, vendors, food, games, carnival activities, FFA Corn Dinner, car show, free swim, fireworks and pickleball. There is plenty happening throughout the weekend, so bring the family out and help us celebrate our community, our history and our future!
