Prescott eNews wishes to join everyone in our hometown of Prescott, the State of Arizona, the United States of America and the whole wide world in wishing President Donald Trump a happy 79th birthday. For the sake of the peace and well being of the world, let us pray there are many more Trump birthdays to come.
I first met Donald Trump in the fall of 2015 as an Arizona delegate to the National Federation of Republican Assembly’s national convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Trump had just announced for the presidency. No primaries had been held. I liked Ted Cruz and some of the others. But I liked Donald Trump the best. It was clear he was not a conventional politician. He was a cut above. He was a man of destiny.
I had an aisle seat near the podium the day he spoke in Nashville. As he strode past me with his security detail, I was struck by how much more vital and youthful he looked in person than on TV. His hair really is golden. He glowed. He spoke for nearly an hour without notes. He talked about the things that really mattered—immigration, crime, fake media, woke schools, and the appalling decline of our country during the Obama years. At that time it was politically incorrect for a politician to talk in anything but platitudes about issues touching on race. Trump talked openly about America’s changing demographics and the sell out of the white working class.
Trump couldn’t fix it all in his first term. The Deep State fought him tooth and claw. No President has ever been opposed with such vicious personal hatred. But he did drive down illegal immigration, cut taxes and give us a new Supreme Court, to mention a few of the transformative changes of his first term. Whether you believe the 2020 election was stolen with fake votes or democracy itself was hijacked by fake media, the fact remains that Donald Trump and the American people were cheated. But not even a corrupt White House could hide forever the incompetence of Biden and Harris. By the Grace of God, Donald Trump is President again. America is getting another chance.
By happy coincidence, President Trump’s birthday—he was born June 14, 1946 in Queens, York—also falls on several other noteworthy anniversaries. Local patriots may wish to honor the birthday of an Arizona favorite son and friend of the President, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who was born June 14, 1932, in Springfield, Massachusetts. At 93, he is still going strong. America’s Toughest Sheriff was a trailblazer on immigration enforcement and has the scars to prove it. Happy Birthday, Sheriff Joe!
June 14th is also the 228th anniversary of the American Flag. The United States dates its founding from the adoption of the US Constitution in 1787. But the first version of the flag of the United States dates from the Revolutionary War and a Resolution by the Second Continental Congress adopting the flag as our national symbol on June 14, 1777. When we pledge allegiance to our country, we “Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States…..” Our country and our flag were created out of war and rebellion against injustice. The spirit of rebellion and willingness to fight for what we believe in are foundational to our national existence.

Patriots understand that freedom is never free. There are always those who want to exploit and dominate and diminish others. We are only as free as we are strong. Today President Trump has ordered a great military parade in Washington DC to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the US Army. The army that was founded in 1775 was the first American revolutionary army commanded by General George Washington. They fought for eight long years against great odds to win our national independence. In our national life, America has fought many wars. We have not always achieved our goals. But America’s soldiers have never failed us. Today we honor the sacrifice and valor of the US Army over 250 years of service to our country and the cause of freedom.
Ceremonies commemorating these wonderful birthdays are scheduled for 2:00pm today, Saturday, June 14th, at the Courthouse Plaza in downtown Prescott.

As a career military man who enlisted at 17, my whole adult life has been in service to my country. I’m a ‘love it or leave it’ patriot. I want to join Prescott and eNews in saying Happy Birthday, President Trump, and a shout out to Sheriff Joe as well.
Trump is not just “a cut above” and a “man of destiny”. He’s a World Historical figure and the man uniquely suited to Make America Great Again. The so called, No Kings rally is really a hate Trump, hate America rally.
What a lovely, inspiring tribute to President Trump and our Flag on this wonderful day. Beautifully written and perfect for the occasion. Thank you eNews for everything you do.
I too want to wish President Trump a happy birthday and commend him for doing an outstanding job. This man cares about our country and the people who live and love it. He is a man who needs to be commended for his strength and courage and fortitude. To a one of a kind man I say happy birthday and with God’s blessing may he have many, many more.
