Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will host an Aviation History Series event called “A Tale of Two Airplanes,” from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at the Prescott Campus Davis Learning Center Auditorium. Please join us for a free presentation from Sean Jeralds, associate professor of aeronautical science.
The presentation is an informative and entertaining discussion of the development and connections between the Grumman Aircraft Corporation’s TBM Avenger and X-29 airplanes.
Jeralds draws upon his father’s experiences with the TBM Avenger aircraft during WWII and highlights events surrounding the X-29 and TBM during the 1980s that influenced their family’s development as aviators.
