Arson Suspect Believed to be Involved in Graffiti in the Prescott Valley Business District and High School Property

The Prescott Valley Police Department’s multi-agency task force continues to aggressively pursue all possible leads in the recent arsons, burglaries, and aggravated criminal damage at the Legado Apartments and the Bradshaw Mountain High School.

Tuesday the task force located surveillance footage of what appears to be the same suspect in a string of graffiti that occurred on March 10, 2024, in the area of Harkins Theaters at 7202 East Pav Way in Prescott Valley, AZ. The graffiti was reported at Harkins, In the Game, and Buffalo Wild Wings. The suspect appears to be the same individual suspected in the recent arsons at the Legado Apartments and the Bradshaw Mountain High School. Based on other reported incidents of burglary, criminal damage, and graffiti to several businesses and a school in the area, the task force urges businesses and residents in that area and the neighborhoods to the west of Pine View in Prescott Valley to review their surveillance camera footage from the beginning of March to assist in the continued investigation into these crimes.

Anyone with information about these incidents or identification of the individual(s) who may be involved is asked to contact ATF. Call 888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477), email ATFTips@atf.gov or submit information anonymously via www.ReportIt.com or the Report It mobile app, available on Google Play or Apple App Store. 1. One of the downsides of growth is increased crime. An FBI statement years ago spoke of crime growing 20% faster than population. Since 2000; Prescott Valley’s population has doubled from 24,461 to 49,075 in 2022 .What will it be like when thousands of new apartments are occupied?
And what about our declining water supplies? The precipitation from Mother Nature that becomes our water from our aquifers has dropped over 20% from averages prior to 2000. It appears our mayor and council have been ignoring factual matters for too long. They need replacement and we have an election this summer to elect four (4) new members.
