“The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflating the currency; the second is war. But both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists.” – Ernest Hemingway
Inflation hasn’t been this high since the early 1980s, and that’s 40 years ago. In President Trump’s last year in office, inflation was 1.2%. By the end of President Biden’s first year, it was 4.7% and had risen to over 8 ½ before going down to around 4%, if you can believe the government bean counters.
At the start of this century, our national debt was over 5.5 trillion. Our government, under both parties, or more appropriately, the Uniparty, has saddled our future generations with a burdensome debt that will eventually have to be paid or it will bankrupt our country. Bidenomics is not only adding to this burden, it is also heading us toward hyperinflation.
When Trump left office, his foreign policy had lowered the temperature in several hot spots around the world. The rhetoric and aggressive actions from North Korea, Russia, and China had greatly diminished. Israel and some Arab countries were making economic pacts and it looked like peace in the Middle East might be possible for the first time in history.
Since Joe Biden has been in office, the Communist Chinese have been more belligerent and menacing since any time since Mao was in charge. They have threatened to invade Taiwan, are trying to annex all of the South China Sea and have acted aggressively against Japan and Vietnam. They have flown at least one spy balloon, that we know of, over our country. The North Koreans are testing intercontinental missals that could reach our country. They have become much more aggressive toward South Korea and Japan.
The Russians have invaded the sovereign nation of Ukraine. Iran has continued to move toward nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them to Israel and the US. That radical Islamist country continues to sponsor terrorism around the globe, and no doubt will be able to increase its support with the $6 billion that the Biden Administration released to them. The lesson is that President Trump’s projection of strength around the world brought stabilization and relative peace. Joe Biden’s obvious weakness and incoherence have delivered chaos, tension and the threat of war across the planet.
With the attacks by Hamas on Israeli civilians, war is breaking out in the Middle East. A spokesman for Hamas has stated that they were aided by their ally, Iran. Who could blame Israel for pointing at the Biden Administration for at least indirectly financing these attacks with the money they released to Iran. With the impotence of the Biden regime at every level of leadership, economic, military and governance, our country’s enemies are emboldened to attack our allies.
The open borders policy Biden and his puppet masters have allowed, has enabled millions of military aged men to illegally enter the US. This provides our foes with the “soldiers” to attack us from within. Also, some of our foes are sending us their criminals, as if we didn’t have enough of our own homegrown outlaws. Now the Biden progressives want to give them work permits that will take jobs from Americans. Without medical exams on all of these illegal immigrants, when can we expect epidemics of diseases we had once eradicated and new ones we never had here?
Despite what the media industrial complex arm of the Democrat Party spews out, the evidence of Joe Biden’s corruption is massive. It comes from former business partners, emails, texts, whistle blowers and bank records. The question remains: is Joe Biden’s mismanagement of the country intentional or the results of complete incompetence?

Buz’s fine article reminded me of Biden’s (actually Obama is running the country) of the jump in food pricing that caused a change in eating habits for me. The net accumulative inflation, 16.8% is what we are dealing with today and when they say “inflation is down” it really is the net new increase in less than earlier. How about a $120,000 Ford F-150 pick up truck? Now that’s inflation.
