It seems like every time a conservative man expresses or writes an opinion, some leftists, usually a female, will declare that the conservative and his statement suffer from “toxic masculinity”. The woke, left, progressive ideologues have such a schizophrenic view on gender issues that it is impossible to understand any of their ideas on the subject. On the one hand they will tell us that there is no difference between men and women, and on the other hand, many men, they say, suffer from toxic masculinity.

The left’s obsession with gender goes beyond all reason. The vast majority of Americans do not think that a man is a woman, just because he declares himself one, or the reverse, that a woman is a man, just because she says so. Despite college sport organizations rulings, an overwhelming number of people do not think that men should be able to compete in women’s sports. While the elitist on the far left want us to “follow the science,” when it suits their agenda, they don’t want to allow science to interfere with their feelings on this subject. What is the science on gender? No matter what parts are added or removed from a human body, a human male has two XX chromosomes and a woman has an X and a Y chromosome. That should be the deciding factor.

If this was the only area where their ideas were diametrically opposed to logic, one might consider it an aberration. But, over the years, the left’s climate alarmists have tried to frighten the populous with a nuclear freeze in the 1960s and 70s, as well as the ruin of our agriculture by “acid rain”. For the next couple of decades, their scare tactics changed to global warming. When that failed to cause more anxiety, they shifted to “climate change.” The only consistency was that we, in the United States, would have to spend ourselves into bankruptcy to combat these “existential” threats, while other countries have air and emissions far worse than ours. .

Projection is a psychological term for accusing others for what a group or individuals are doing themselves. Not so long ago, many on the left wanted to ban books like Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, To Kill A Mockingbird and books by Dr. Seuss, among others, because these books contained words that are offensive nowadays or ideas that some may find racist. Today, the woke establishment is accusing parents and conventional educators of wanting to burn or ban books from schools. The leftists always fail to mention that the books concerned parents, taxpayers and educators want to ban in K-12 schools, are books that promote pornography and/or aberrant sex material that shouldn’t be in public schools.

One of the socialist, progressives main push is to destroy our country’s work ethic. They want to demolish any incentive for encouraging hard work. They are already implementing this by replacing the word equality with equity. They sound the same, so this blends in well with their schemes to indoctrinate their constituents. Our definition of equality is an equal opportunity, under the law. Their definition of equity is the same result for everyone, regardless of work, training, education or effort. There is no quicker way to ruin a country than to reward idleness, sloth and envy and punish hard work and ambition. There surely is a toxicity running rampant in our nation. It is not toxic masculinity of men on the right. It is toxic stupidity by those on the left.
