National Night Out Kick-Off Concert on the Court House Square, July 29

Special Concert and Law Enforcement Event – Giving Crime the “Blues”

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office will host the annual National Night Out event on the Court House Square on Friday July 29, 2022 starting at 6:30pm. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, the Prescott Police Department and other law enforcement partners are expected to participate.

The National Night Out (NNO) Kick-Off events take place in communities across the U.S., and is designed to raise crime prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood unity and spirit, and further develop partnerships between Law Enforcement agencies and the community. At the core of these programs is the Neighborhood Watch – residents and business owners uniting with their law enforcement representatives to reduce crime.

The NNO Kick- Off event, which precedes the actual Aug. 2nd National Night Out, will provide an opportunity for the public to meet agency representatives from the various law enforcement agencies, who will be on hand to talk about their planned NNO activities, to answer questions, and to share crime prevention information.

There will also be activities and displays including participation by various units within the Sheriff’s Office, special vehicle displays, and our own Deputy Do-Right, YCSO’s child safety mascot.

For the 10th year hosting, local blues band “Road One South” will be performing.
