MATFORCE, a primary prevention organization that helps stop drug use before it starts, knows that parents can often experience challenging times. That’s why we are offering a selection of parenting class options that offer support for even the busiest parents.
Local parenting expert and longtime Parenting the Love and Logic Way® facilitator, Sandi Cheney will share three tools from the Love and Logic toolbox. These tools are designed to neutralize arguments, build relationships, and help parents apply the concept of shared control to help children become more respectful, responsible, and fun. This is a Love and Logic Overview and will not cover everything outlined in the Parenting the Love and Logic Way® class. But it will offer tips that parents can use right away that work.

Sandi has facilitated Love and Logic parenting classes for almost two decades in Yavapai County. Looking for a more comprehensive approach to parenting? MATFORCE is offering 2 Parenting the Love and Logic Way® classes starting in January. These are 6-week classes, meeting virtually through Zoom, once a week. Go beyond the information presented in the Overview class with even more tools from the Love and Logic toolbox that help support parents.
Two classes will be offered starting Tuesday, January 25th and Thursday, January 27th. Each class is 6 weeks, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm virtually.
