In response to a critical need in our community, a generous donor acquired and donated a 5-plex property to U.S. Vets, with the express purpose of housing low-income senior veterans.
This new housing project is not associated with a funding source, so U.S. Vets needs help. Many of the veterans who are moving into this property have been homeless and do not have the financial means necessary to buy the items needed to set up a home.
U.S. Vets is requesting donations of new or very gently used items (listed below) to help furnish these 5 units. Tax deductible financial donations to U.S. Vets to purchase these items are welcome as well.
