All Prescott National Forest offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. President Trump signed an executive order on Dec. 11 to make Christmas Eve a federal holiday this year.
Forest offices will resume virtual business hours on Monday, Dec. 28 and Jan. 4, respectively.
If you plan to visit the Santa Fe National Forest over the holidays, know before you go and “be outdoor safe.” Check the weather forecast and be prepared for seasonal fluctuations. In the interest of public health and safety, please follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
