Prescott quarterback Rylee Hart threw for 5 touchdowns and Kaylin Pinarelli added one more in exciting fashion to beat the Lee Williams Volunteers 42-0 in the final regular season home game at Prescott High School.
The Badgers started off on offense and scored on their second play of the game when Rylee Hart threw a pass down the middle of the field to Halle Terelak-Foster who took it the distance for a 60 yard touchdown. Brinkley Larson added the PAT and it was quickly 7-0.
Lee Williams had their turn and moved the ball briefly before punting back to the Badgers. The home team scored again on a great catch when Isabella Ramos high pointed the ball in the back of the end zone over two defenders to complete a 19 yard touchdown pass from Hart to make it 14-0.

The Badger defense got the ball quickly back but a pass interception by Khloe Hollingsworth at the Volunteers 24 yard line ended that threat. The lead grew to 21-0 on a short pass play from Hart to Addy Brandon with ten minutes left in the second quarter. Brandon said, “I am finally feeling like myself again after missing so much of the season due to an injury. The first game of the season I had a pretty bad injury and I was out till senior night. I feel like I am getting my rhythm back and I am playing to the level that I envisioned myself having this season.”

The Volunteers had their best chance to score with the ball at the Badgers 1 yard line but the tide turned when Kaylin Pinarelli stepped in front of a pass and took it the other way for a 99 yard pick-six. Pinarelli said, “I was ready and on that pass. I felt somebody right behind me but I knew I had to just keep running and I was able to make it all the way. I just ran as fast as could.”
The score remained 28-0 heading into halftime. After the teams exchanged possessions the Badgers pushed the lead to 35-0 in the only scoring in the third quarter on an 11 yard pass from Hart to Brinkley Larson.

Ella Pifer closed out the scoring with a 14 yard reception from Hart with 3:48 left.
Prescott coach Ryan Hart said, “I like what I saw tonight. We played a team that has a lot of heart and is really well coached. It is always fun to play them and have them in the house. We came out strong and started off quick which is what we need to do because it carries on throughout the rest of the game. We had intensity on both sides of the ball so we are going to try and keep it going. It is tough to play three games in four days, but we are going up north to play a very good team and see if we can get another one and be ready for the playoffs.”
Badgers vs. Flagstaff Eagles
The Badgers played their final regular season game less than 24 hours later in a make-up matinee game at Flagstaff. What was on the line was a third place finish in the Grand Canyon Region for the winner.
Flagstaff led 7-0 late in the game and the Badgers were able to score with just :28 left when Rylee Hart threw a 20 yard touchdown pass to Brinkley Larson. Coach Ryan Hart elected to kick the extra point to get into overtime but the kick failed and the Badgers lost a very hard fought game 7-6.
The playoff seedings and matchups will be announced on Saturday. Prescott ended the regular season at (8-4).
