The City of Prescott is developing a Long-Term Water Management Plan to help ensure the community has reliable water supplies to meet current and future needs. The plan will look at the City’s existing water supplies, current and future water demands, as well as opportunities for conservation and improved efficiency.
The City will host a community meeting on Wednesday, October 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Prescott Public Library, 215 E. Goodwin Street.
The meeting will begin with a 45-minute presentation introducing the Long-Term Water Management Plan and the planning process. Following the presentation, City representatives will be available at stations throughout the room to talk with community members about different aspects of the plan. A short survey and water conservation resources will also be available.
If you’re unable to attend the meeting, you can still get involved by taking the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/water_management_plan. The survey will help inform the City’s Water Resources team as it develops the first draft of the plan.
