Reimagining Idiocy – Buz Blog

The word “reimagining” seemed to be thrust into our collective consciousness after George Floyd’s suicide by overdose was videoed and broadcast ad nauseam by the legacy media so they could blame police officers who were just trying to do their job. The media got its desired effect when the Antifa/Black lives matter riots occurred that summer causing the death of some forty or so people and billions of dollars in property damage. The Democrats and their co-conspirators in the press got exactly what they wanted.

Remember when Rahm Emanuel said, “Never let a crisis go to waste?” They certainly took advantage of that fiasco. During, or shortly after that so-called “summer of love,” reimagining became the word on the tongue of every left wing radical and media writer or broadcaster. What outcome they really wanted was to abolish whatever the object of their reimagining was. Reimagining law enforcement quickly became “defund the police.” That eventually morphed into abolish the police.

Reimagining the bail system became cashless bail. Reimagining incarceration became, abolishing all prisons and jails. Now the reimaginers want to change any and everything that has worked in the past. Every time their imagination has been put into action, it has caused havoc in the locations where it has been implemented.

Reimagining policing led to the vilification of law enforcement officers. They were called racists, Nazis and White supremacists among other derogatory epithets. With the press echoing the leftist tripe every day, morale plummeted. Many officers retired early. Many found employment in other fields. Other officers found law enforcement jobs in more friendly cities and states. Those officers that stayed were forced to endure long shifts and slower response times due to a shortage of cops. Most police administrators, mayors, city councils, police commissions and county supervisors offered little or no support for those working to enforce the laws in their jurisdictions. Crime increased.

Another reason for the rise in crime was the reimagined bail system that resulted in cashless bail. This created a revolving door where a suspect would be arrested, booked and then released back to the streets to commit new crimes, usually before the officer finished his paperwork.

The loonies on the far left also attacked other law enforcement agencies. At first, these radical leftists wanted to have a major “reform” to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, (ICE). That lasted a very short time and now they not only want to abolish that agency, they want to prosecute those that enforced immigration laws.

Some on the left are now altering the word from “reimagining” to “revisiting” or “reexamining”. Former Vice President Kamala Harris recently stated that she wants to revisit and reconsider such things as the Electoral College, expanding the Supreme Court and making Puerto Rico and Washington DC, states. It doesn’t make any difference what word they use. Their aim in all this, is to destroy our Constitution, our culture, our history and our civilization so they can rebuilt it into their reimagined collectivist, communist Utopia.
