The northbound lanes of SR 89 remain closed at the Willow Lake Roundabout due to a break in the City’s effluent main just north of Point of Rocks Campground.
The break caused damage to the roadway beneath both northbound travel lanes. City crews and a contractor are currently evaluating the extent of the damage and developing a repair plan.
Northbound traffic is being detoured to Willow Lake Road at the roundabout.
Southbound lanes remain open at this time.
Alternate routes include:
• SR 89 to SR 69
• SR 69 to Prescott Lakes Parkway → Willow Lake Road → Willow Creek Road
• Willow Creek Road to SR 89
• SR 89 to Rosser Street → Willow Creek Road
See map for detour routes, plan ahead, and expect delays while repairs are underway.
Thank you for your patience as crews work to safely restore the roadway

Without earlier warning I was rerouted along with hundreds of cars-trucks. Signage further South on 89 should have been in place. It was a mess.
