The local chapter of Yavapai County’s Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic (ConCR) has announced that Congressman Eli Crane (R-CD2), will speak at their upcoming meeting this Saturday, May 23rd in Chino Valley. The meeting is free and open to the public but seating is limited. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP at concr2018@gmail.com.
Congressman Crane was first elected in November 2022, to represent Arizona’s newly drawn Second Congressional District, which now includes all of Yavapai County.
He unseated CD2’s longtime Democrat incumbent, Tom O’Halleran, in the now Republican leaning District.
Congressman Crane has established himself as a strong conservative voice for CD2. He is allied with the House Freedom Caucus and is a strong supporter of President Trump’s ‘America First’ domestic policy agenda. He was an early and vocal opponent of the war in Ukraine and has generally opposed foreign military interventions. He drew national attention in his freshman term for his successful sponsorship of legislation that would prevent military funding for recruitment and training programs that draw on race or gender ideology.
Congressman Crane is an Arizona native, born in Tucson in 1980. He served as a Navy Seal from 2001 to 2014, with several overseas deployments. He was endorsed by President Trump in the 2022 Republican congressional primary election. He serves on the Committee for Homeland Security and the House Oversight Committee. He also serves on key House Caucuses of importance to Arizona including the Western Caucus, Border Security, and the Copper Caucus.
Also speaking at the Saturday meeting is longtime Republican activist and attorney, Rodney Glassman, who is running for Arizona Attorney General.
Mr. Glassman’s campaign literature cites his experience as a practicing attorney and as a prosecutor with the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Mr. Glassman also cites his financial support for President Trump and his large advantage in campaign cash as factors in his electability.
The Yavapai Chapter of Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic is a group of conservative activists dedicated to defending and promoting the values of representative government as set forth in the United States Constitution. They are a private organization and not directly affiliated with any political party. However, most members are registered Republicans or conservative leaning independents who are civically engaged or are current or former elected officials or candidates for office.
ConCR meets monthly at the Bible Baptist Church, 3490 N State Road 89, in Chino Valley. Recent speakers include Congressmen and candidate for Governor Andy Biggs, Senate President and candidate for Attorney General, Warren Petersen, LD1’s Legislative Delegation, and many other prominent conservative figures and candidates for office.
ConCR is a membership organization. However, in the interest of informing voters about important issues and candidates, the appearances of guest speakers of high public interest are open to the public. All those wishing to meet Cong. Eli Crane and Mr. Glassman and learn about their record and priorities if elected are cordially invited to attend. Time permitting, the candidates will stand for questions. Doors open at 10:45AM. The meeting will begin promptly at 11:15AM, this Saturday, May 23rd.
RSVP’s are requested and should be addressed to concr2018@gmail.com.

I will be concerned about Congressman Crane’s Western Caucus and efforts to deal with our growing drought. Both bring in water via pipelines and or controlling the overpowering pressure of greedy developers to run us out of water.
