Some people think that our country is only exceptional in the same way that the British think England is exceptional and the way Greeks think that Greece is exceptional. Those individuals must be very surprised with the accomplishments of America under the leadership of President Donald Trump. What he has done to inflation in less than a year is astounding and has blown away all the predictions of the Democrats and their naysayer allies in the media.
The Trump Administration’s immigration policies have resulted in the voluntary or forced deportation of over 3 million illegal immigrants in a little more than a year. Depending on who is calculating how many illegals the Democrats let into our country under Joe Biden, that means there is still anywhere from 8 million to 16 million more illegals to be deported.
The crime rate under Trump’s second term has dropped significantly, with the rate of murders down to a hundred year low. Other violent crimes are also falling by double digits. Where ever the President sends in the federal teams of law enforcement and the National Guard, formerly dangerous areas have become safe. Part of the decline in the crime rate is due to the work done by ICE agents targeting violent criminal illegal aliens, arresting and deporting them.
The whining and often violent anti-ICE protesters are part of an organized, orchestrated group of anti-America socialist/communists financed by billionaire leftists. They provide money, signs, costumes, logistics and strategies. Their people target ICE agents and their families. The leftist’s co-conspirators in the media and Democrat party then demand that the ICE agents not wear masks to protect their identities and families from retaliation. They loudly complain when “ICE agents killed two Americans”, but never mention that one of those “Americans” ran her car into an ICE agent and the other brought a loaded firearm to a “mostly peaceful” protest where he got into a physical altercation with armed ICE agents.
On the foreign policy stage, Trump has neutralized our hemispheric foe, Venezuela, by capturing the illegitimate president, Nicolas Maduro. Our military swooped into that country, captured Maduro and his wife, and brought him back to the US to face criminal charges. Our military did this quickly without any loss of life for our personnel. The Trump administration has also greatly diminished the footprint and influence of China in our hemisphere.
In the Middle East, for nearly 50 years, Iran has been waging a war against us. Since the 1979 Islamic revolution, Iran or its surrogates have killed over 1000 American civilians and military personnel. Their leaders call us the big Satan and chant “Death to America”. No American president until Donald Trump, has had the intestinal fortitude to do anything about it.
While the Iranian regime was amassing missiles and enriching uranium to make nuclear weapons, the Democrats gave Iran billions of dollars and negotiated a one sided treaty with them. Trump bombed their nuclear sites last summer and when they were starting to rebuild their nuclear capabilities, he unleashed our potent military on them. Our military juggernaut wiped out the top two or three tiers of Iranian leadership, demolished their air force, and sunk their navy.
On April 3, one of the Iranian hand held surface to air missiles, got lucky and shot down one of our F-15 fighter jets over Iran. The pilot and the weapons systems officer on board ejected. The pilot was located and extracted within hours. The injured weapons systems officer was able to evade detection of the Iranian forces searching for him. Despite his injuries, he was able to climb up a 7,000 foot mountain, hide and activate a transmitter. With the aid of a CIA locating device, he was located, extracted and returned to safety. The rescue teams and coordination between the different branches of the military and the CIA displayed for the whole world, our American Exceptionalism that is exemplified by our policy of “no man left behind”.
The Chinese and Russians must be in awe of what is happening in our country, economically, militarily and diplomatically. It also must give them second thoughts about any future adventurism they might be contemplating against any American interests.
