Photo: The Phoenix Raceway will be roaring in March and again in October
The 2026 NASCAR season is underway and will feature on Sunday, February 15 the Daytona 500. The 200 lap 500 mile race will be shown on FOX 10 Phoenix beginning at 12:30pm MST.
February 22 the AutoTrader 400 comes to us from Hampton, Georgia, also on FOX 10 Phoenix at 1:00pm MST.
On March 8, the Valley of the Sun gets its chance to shine when the Straight Talk Wireless 500 takes place from the Phoenix Raceway beginning at 12:30pm. FS1 takes over as the channel broadcasting for the remainder of the month and into April.
Christopher Bell will be going for his third straight victory in the March race. Since 1988, 31 drivers have won at the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale. Kevin Harvick has the most with 9 victories. Kyle Busch, Jimmy Johnson, and Joey Logano have taken home the win four times.
Prior to the Sunday race, ARCA Menards Series race will take place on March 5. Then on March 6, it is qualifying day for NASCAR O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Series and NTT INDYCAR Series. Phoenix will get a return trip once again as the NASCAR Playoffs Round of 8 takes place on Sunday October 18 in the Freeway Insurance 500. Ryan Blaney was the 2025 winner and Joey Logano won in 2024.
The NASCAR Cup Championship Series concludes with the championship race on Sunday, November 8, from Homestead-Miami.
