Prisciandaro said, “Regardless of the score a win is a win. The rivalry is super fun and to beat Bradshaw is always a must for us. The atmosphere we get in these games makes it better.”

About the team’s growth as the season has progressed, Prisciandaro said, “We have had some tough opponents. More recently our win at Sunnyslope was big for us because we were on the road against a bigger school and they play at another level. We had gone down there to scrimmage them at the beginning of the year and they beat us, so for us to go down there and get that win was huge for us confidence wise. We continue to improve and not getting complacent.” Abt said, “I feel like if we keep playing together as a team and those who can step up in clutch moments come thought then we can continue to win. I think we are a very selfless team and that has been a big part of our success.”

Prescott came out and went up 7-0 in the first minute. Coach Jamie Johnson called a timeout with 6:36 on the clock after Prisciandaro scored her school record 2000th point and Abt’s 1250 rebound record. Both players agreed that the records are great, but the goal is for the team to win and a Division 4A title in their senior year would be the best.
The Lady Badgers went back on the court and used a full court press for the next minute to create steals and easy buckets to lead 18-0. The lead continued to grow to 30-0 with two minutes left in the first quarter.

Bradshaw Mountain got their points soon but trailed 35-2 after the first quarter. The Lady Badger bench saw plenty of playing time as the lead continued to swell to 53-9 at the half.
Prescott, #2 in Division 4A, (9-0) in the Grand Canyon Region and (22-3) overall will host ALA-Queen Creek in a non-region game on Monday at 5:30pm.
Bradshaw Mountain falls to (3-5), and (13-11), and will travel to Flagstaff on Monday night at 7pm.
