Three Lady Badgers scored in double figures as Prescott improved to (2-0) in the Grand Canyon Region with a 74-22 win over the Coconino Lady Panthers. Addie Prisciandaro scored 29 and Bella Abt knocked down 16, but it was Lilly James who came alive knocking down a trifecta of three pointers in the first half putting the Lady Badgers up 48-7 at the half.

Lilly James said, “My team found me today and my shot was falling.” As for her thoughts on the season thus far, James said, “I am really excited as we continue to go through our season and getting to play with these seniors. I am enjoying it as much as I can because I know I am going to really miss them next year.”
Prisciandaro was her usual self creating space and seemingly scoring at will. The senior is averaging over 24 points a game, currently good for second in Division 4A, and seventh in the entire state. Meanwhile Abt was all over the court making plays inside and out. Kylee Murdock and Bentlee Crockett each scored 6, along with Cate Jones with 3, were influential inside as they frustrated the Lady Panthers all night.
The game was scoreless for the first couple of minutes and was only 2-0 when Prescott Coach Jami Johnson called a timeout. A new Lady Badgers team resurfaced and when they applied the press, Coconino was in severe trouble. Add 22 points to just one Lady Panthers point and that was it for the first quarter.

The lead continue to grow as Prescott led 48-7 at the half. Coconino was able to get some offense generated in the third quarter, but fell behind further 67-16, as more bench players made it into the game.
The final quarter went quickly as the running clock was put into play as Prescott improved to (13-3) on the season.
Bella Abt said, “I think we started off a little slow tonight because we are still coming down from the tournament we just played. We played some really good teams that made us work hard. As for this game once we put on our press we got going and played our game. We moved the ball around well and were able to take some good shots.” As for the game at Bradshaw Mountain, Abt added, “It is a crazy environment over there and it is Bradshaw, so anything can happen. We are just going to have to play our game and stay focused on what we can do.”
Prescott will play at Bradshaw Mountain in their first meeting of the season on Thursday at 5:30pm.
