Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is inviting the public to attend its 2025 Fall Symposium on Friday, Oct.17.  This year’s theme is “Transforming Care Through Innovation and  Community Partnerships” and centers on advancements in medical technology as well as how community partnerships play a part in creating a healthier community.

“It’ll be a great opportunity for our residents to learn about the innovation happening through modern health technology—and how they can access it—right here in our community,” says Mark Domingo, Director of Mission and Community Health at YRMC.  “It’s also a chance for us to highlight the different ways we’re strengthening our community through partnerships with local organizations—partnerships that have been vital in keeping our community a healthier place to live.”

The symposium will be held in the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center at Yavapai College. The event will be split into two sessions, morning and afternoon. There is no cost to attend and those interested can select a ticket for the morning session, the afternoon session, or an all-day ticket.

The morning session will focus on technologies used in robotic surgeries, water-jet prostate ablation therapy for enlarged prostates, and a 3D microscope used in neurosurgery. It is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon. The afternoon session will center on the local organizations YRMC partners with to better serve the community in the areas of behavioral and mental health and workforce development in the healthcare industry. This session is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m.
