The Badgers took the lead when quarterback Rianna Aguilar connected with Maneely on a 15 yard pass play. Mallory Walsh added the extra point to make it 7-0.
Maneely scored again by stepping in front of a Dysart pass weaving her way around the Demons going 31 yards for the score. Marley Van Wormer came into to kick the extra point for Walsh to make it 14-0.

Prescott added another score with seventeen seconds left when VanWormer ran around the end from 12 yards out and then added the extra point for a 21-0 lead at the half.
Early in the third quarter Brinkley Larson picked off a pass setting up the Badgers for another score by starting at the Dysart 12 yard line. Aguilar used her speed to get around the defenders on a six yard run and a Prescott lead of 27-0 with 9:43 left on the third quarter clock.

Ellie Richards scored on a run yard run after Olivia Raber thought she had scored on a big play, but the officials ruled her down inside the one. Prescott now led 34-0 and the score would stay that way till the final play of the game when back up QB Brinkley Larson threw a pass into the back of the end zone to VanWormer as the clock went to zeros.
Coach Ryan Hart said, “These girls find a way to go out and get things done.” Next up for the Badgers is a big tournament in Tempe with 5A and 6A schools. Their first game will be against last years 6A state champion Hamilton on October 9 at 2pm. Hart said, “It’s an honor to be invited to this tournament. We are the only team in 4A to be there so grateful for that. I talked to Brett who is with the Fiesta Bowl today and he said that Coach Hart is not afraid to play anybody and he is right about that.”
The other games slated for the Badgers will be against Mountain Ridge and Xavier Prep, who just beat St. Mary’s 47-0.
Maneely, who had two more interceptions giving her eight on the season, said, “It was a great game for us and we were able to work out some things, but it was also a good win with the 40 points scored.” About the tournament coming up, “It is going to be a very difficult tournament. We are one of the smallest schools there but I think we can hang with them and I think there are going to be really good games. We are going to have to work really hard, but I think we got it.”
VanWormer said, “I think everybody worked really hard and played well together. We especially work hard to get zero points scored against us because every time we get that zero we get donuts.” That sounds good to me. How can I get in on this deal? VanWormer responded, “Talk to coach Dupree and come to one of our practices.” That is something that I am seriously considering.
Halle Terelak-Foster led Prescott in tackles with 10.
The Badgers will play to region games at Mohave and Coconino before returning home on October 22 to face Flagstaff at 6pm.
