Prescott at Lee Williams
The Prescott Badgers were flying high after knocking off Northwest Christian last week. Last night the Badgers fell back to earth in every way possible resulting in a 29-3 loss to the Lee Williams Volunteers in Kingman.
Lucas Leist ran for 235 yards on 32 carries with a touchdown to lead the Volunteers. Quarterback Morgan Quinn managed his team very efficiently only throwing five passes, completing three and one to Cooper Cronk for a touchdown.

The Badgers kicked off and the Volunteers rolled right on down the field to score on an 8 yard run by Bryson Vaughn.
The explosive Prescott offense was nowhere to be found as Lee Williams defense beat the Badgers to the spots and wrapped up the ball carriers resulting in very little yardage after contact.
After an exchanged of possessions, the Badgers defense forced a punt with the ball placed at the five yard line. Prescott opted to throw and turned the ball over right back to Lee Williams on an interception by Cooper Cronk, who would also catch the touchdown pass from Quinn for a 14-0 lead.

Prescott was finally able to move the in the final minutes of the first half. Thanks to three straight defensive penalties the Badgers were able to move the ball down to the Lee Williams three, but ran out of time, electing to kick a 20 yard field by Brady Costes in the final play of the half to make it 14-3.
Prescott received the second half kickoff but once again were unable to move the ball. Lee Williams received the punt and milked the clock consistently by running the ball.
The Volunteers would score to go on top 20-3 on quarterback keeper by Quinn with just under nine minutes left in the game.
Lee Williams would score again with 2:35 left on a 40 yard run by Leist. To add insult to injury, the Badger botched an offensive play and the ball rolled back into their own end zone, recovered by Prescott, but resulting in a safety.
The Prescott numbers were ugly, reflecting just how bad a game it was. James Heffrin was 8-14-2 for only 28 yards. Jacob Chamberlain led the team in rushing with 35 yards. Kenny Miller-Terry ran for 19 and Braylon Johnson rushed for 16. All a far cry from a week ago. Miller-Terry caught 2 passes for 3 yards and Ashton Whitwell had a catch for 6 yards.
Prescott will search for answers this week and regroup for Mingus on Friday at 7pm
