Prescott Man Arrested on Felony Charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest

On Monday, September 1st, 2025, 65-year-old Prescott resident Jeffery Lindbolm walked to a neighbor’s home located in the 2000 block of Ponderosa Lane and began to knock on the door. The homeowners opened the door to Lindbolm who then entered the victims’ home while holding a handgun. After a short time, the victims were able to exit the home and call 911. Lindbolm then, however, barricaded himself inside the home and refused to leave.

Officers arrived on scene and attempted to contact him and have him exit the home. Lindbolm refused requests to leave and eventually the Prescott Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT)  team was called in. After several hours and continued attempts to have Lindbolm exit the home, it was determined through the use  of technological equipment that Lindbolm had isolated himself inside a bathroom of the home. Officers were then able to enter the home and, through non-lethal means, able to take Lindbolm into custody. Lindbolm was transported to the local hospital and later released. Lindbolm was then taken to Yavapai County Jail where he was booked on felony charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
