The people who run the District schools just don’t get it. They have more resources but always seem to come in last on student achievement. Charters, parochial and home schoolers always seem to come out on top.
One of the most shocking facts about public education in Arizona is that home schooled kids, who are taught by parents without professional training, outperform kids in public schools who are taught by certified teachers. Parents know this and are using ESAs to vote with their feet. We need to completely rethink how we educate young people.
