Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Weekly Report

Accident in Ash Fork

On Saturday, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) Deputies responded to a side-by-side accident in Ash Fork. Upon arrival, an adult male passenger was injured with a badly bleeding arm. A deputy quickly applied a tourniquet and stopped the bleeding. The man was airlifted to a Flagstaff hospital. The initial investigation revealed it was a single-vehicle accident with no signs of impairment.

Burglary Suspect Caught in Black Canyon City

YCSO responded to a stolen vehicle report from a business in Black Canyon City. A flatbed trailer and an all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the business’ property.

The following day, YCSO was contacted again after the victim spotted their trailer on a nearby property and then noticed the all-terrain vehicle was inside that residential property.

Deputies, detectives, and the YCSO Quick Response Team (QRT) responded and executed a search warrant, taking two suspects into custody. YCSO found the business’ stolen vehicles, along with another stolen trailer and a stolen box trailer.

The suspect, 59-year-old Anthony Leon, was arrested for theft and burglary.

PANT Arrests 3 in a House of Drugs

YCSO and The Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) taskforce executed a search warrant at a house in Cordes Lakes off Rodeo Dr., following an investigation which began when law enforcement received multiple drug-related calls for service earlier this summer.

During the search, PANT, YCSO QRT, and the K9 Special Crimes Unit(SCU) discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia, culminating in arrests of 3 suspects: Lisa Ybarra, Randolph Kitterman, and Lisa Fox.

YCSO thanks the citizens who voiced their concerns, as well as the deputies and PANT members for their diligent work to apprehend these suspects and reduce narcotics in our community.

  1. I love this article and wish you would write a weekly one that tells more police actions. Wish there was a website just dedicated to all police activity. I hear and see our law enforcement with their lights and sirens on and always wonder what’s going on. Thanks for keeping the people of Prescott informed.
