It has been 50 years since the iconic rock band Pink Floyd released their ninth studio album titled Wish You Were Here. To commemorate the anniversary, Brit Floyd is performing the album, along with other fabulous Pink Floyd creations.
“Shine on You Crazy Diamonds” (Parts I-V) and (Parts VI-IX), “Welcome to the Machine”, “Have a Cigar”, and “Wish You Were Here”, were authentically done in a masterful performance by the band that formed in 2011 in Liverpool, England.
The stage presence is something to behold with the big circle screen and many uses of laser lighting recreate a memorable experience that makes you thing you are seeing the original band.
The band opened with “Signs of Life” and went on to “Learning to Fly”, giving the crowd an early taste of what was only going to get better.

Other highlights featured “High Hopes” from the Division Bell album in 1994. A pair of 1977 FM radio favorites in “Pigs” (Three Different Ones), and “Dogs”, off the Animals album.

A visit to the Dark Side of The Moon album gave us four songs with “Brain Damage”, “Eclipse”, and “Time”. The crowd acknowledged Ava Avila with her wide range of vocal in an amazing performance of “The Great Gig in the Sky”.
A bonus six pack from the iconic 1979 album The Wall. “What Shall We Do Now?”, “Young Lust”, “Mother”, “Goodbye Blue Sky”, “Another Brick In The Wall”, Part 2, “Comfortably Numb”, and closing their performance with “Run Like Hell”.
The band continues on their tour, but will back this way to play in Phoenix on July 10 at the Arizona Financial Theater. It would be well worth it to mark the date on your calendar.

Saw them in Kansas City, and they had an amazing show. Go every year with my son, love them. Next best thing to Pink Floyd!
Nothing like the original.
I’ve seen the original Pink Floyd several times, including the original The Wall tour in NY, Roger Waters multiple times, and probably a dozen other tribute bands, and Brit Floyd is absolutely fantastic! They are very much like the original.
old school one of greatest bands ever come back for another tour but come to Montana please we have some good places to play promise sell outs.
Saw them for the second time in Syracuse NY not long ago, the show was good again, I would see them again given the chance.
why not visit Istanbul…lots of Floyd fans here……
