Graduation at Prescott High School is in the books after 359 students enjoyed their final moments on the campus where they learned and grew over the past few years.
The Badgers Class of 2025 will go down as one of the most memorable in sports. Starting with football, then the exciting inaugural season of flag football, to girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, baseball, volleyball, and finally track.
This class featured the most graduates with distinction and the most athletic scholarships awarded.
Here are a few of the thoughts of some of the graduates from the class of 2025.
Violet Williams left her mark at Prescott High School becoming a state track champion. “It was very exciting and I am really happy that we were able to accomplish our goals.” She will be attending the Colorado School of Mines in Boulder, Colorado.
The two-time basketball leading scorer, Uriah Tenette said, “Made a lot of memories here. I have a lot of stories with my friends. I am just excited for tonight. Might be a little emotional, but you won’t see anything from me. I will just be smiley. I am excited for the next chapter in my life.” Tenette will be playing basketball at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Josiah Peoples will be playing football at El Camino College in Torrance, California, next year while majoring in computer science. “I am really looking forward to this. It has been fun being here but now it is time to move on.”
Zane Gaul said, “I’m excited to finish this chapter of my life and go onto the next. I loved high school. Got to play three sports, but now I am ready to move on and play ball at Hawaii Pacific in Honolulu.” About his choice, Gaul said, “I took a trip out there and visited the campus, met the coaches. I love Hawaii and the beach and it was an easy decision.”
Cooper Magnett said, “I thought I would be more excited or even sad, but I am kinda in the middle. Right now I am just taking it one day at a time. High school was fun, but I am looking forward to going college at Liberty University in Virginia. I will be walking on to play baseball.”
Luke Tobin said, “Graduation is kind of surreal right now. Doesn’t really feel like it. Maybe miss it here or maybe not. It may take a little time to set in. I will be at Yavapai College next year playing baseball.”
Adrian Sanderford said, “This is pretty cool, has not really sat in yet. I will be moving onto Glendale to play some ball.”
Colton Champion said, “It has been fun. Glad to be here but kind of bittersweet. I enjoyed my time in high school and I am ready to move on. We had a great baseball season just came up short in that game with Flagstaff. I will moving on to Arizona Christian and play some more baseball.”
Cooper Hickey, “I am excited to graduate. It has been kind of anticlimactic coming up to it. Excited to be going to Boise State in the fall and I am undecided for a major, but considering mechanical engineering.”
Jacob Patterson said, “Excited, can’t believe it came so quick. Excited to see what’s in store for the future. I will be going to Embry Riddle up the road here and be playing baseball.”
Anthony Espinoza said, “I’m excited to be done with school and get on with my life. I am going to YC but I have always wanted to be a mechanic. That is what I do on the side.”

Well done Class of ’25.
