Due Process – Buz Blog

Due process and judicial process are not the same, particularly when it comes to national security/” – Eric Holder

Suddenly, the Democrats, the leftist media and some so-called judicial experts are concerned that “due process” was not used in deporting one illegal alien. An MS13 gang member, accused wife beater, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, was deported by the Trump Administration. Woke Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen started the farcical pilgrimages down to El Salvador to visit Garcia and was followed by four House Democrats.

These visits aren’t being received well by the vast majority of Americans. There are pictures of Van Hollen sitting with Abrego Garcia. His gang tattoos are in full view. In what looks like a restaurant setting, the Senator and the gangbanger are sitting at a table set with what looked like margarita cocktails. This doesn’t seem to project the image the Senator wanted. Now Van Hollen and other Democrats are trying to change that view by claiming that they are not supporting Abrego Garcia, but are trying to ensure that the Constitutional concept of “due process” is applied to him, and all others in this country.

They showed no concern for the J6 defendants who were held without bail. They never uttered a peep when many of those J6 defendants had their Eighth Amendment rights, (the rights against excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment), violated because they were held in solitary confinement in a filthy prison with mold on the walls.

With whiny voices and crocodile tears, Democrats wonder why Abrego Garcia wasn’t given “due process”. Like Democrats and their media allies always do, they either lie, exaggerate or omit crucial information. In 2019, Abrego Garcia was denied bond by an immigration judge and an immigration court appeals board later upheld that decision.

A different immigration judge heard Abrego Garcia’s asylum claim. That judge didn’t grant Abrego Garcia asylum because he didn’t apply for it until seven years after he illegally entered our country, and asylum must be claimed within one year. This judge did issue a ruling that Abrego Garcia could not be deported to his home country, El Salvador where he stated he was in danger because a rival gang, Barrio 18, had threatened to kill him. With President Trump in power, Abrego Garcia was caught and deported to El Salvador. Whoops.

With tens of millions of unvetted illegal aliens allowed and even flown into the US by the Biden administration, some mistakes are bound to be made when trying to deport some of them. Since President Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi admitted their error, it’s not like they were trying to cover up their mistake. The fact that they deported an El Salvadoran gang thug back to his native country, does not look like such an egregious act. At any rate, Abrego Garcia is back in El Salvador and out of our jurisdiction. If El Salvadoran officials don’t want to send him back, there is nothing Trump, the Supreme Court, or any other court can do about it.

The fact that the Democrats and the very biased left leaning media are claiming that Abrego Garcia was denied “due process” is specious at best. His cases were heard in two different immigration courts, and an appellate court and none of them ruled that Abrego Garcia could not be deported. How many courts have to hear this case before the Democrat/legacy media complex will admit that Abrego Garcia has had “due process”?
