The Prescott Badgers were held in check by Volunteers pitcher Andrew Romero through five innings, but finally broke through in the final two innings to pull out a 4-1 over Lee Williams in Kingman. The two teams had met earlier in the week with the Badgers winning 10-1.
Lee Williams broke a scoreless tie in the fourth when Gaven Kolar hit a sacrifice fly scoring Izaiah Orozco to take a 1-0 lead.
The Badgers were held scoreless till the sixth inning when Cooper Magnett came up with a game tying single to knot the game at one.
Prescott took the lead in the seventh on RBI singles by Jacob Patterson and Luke Tobin. The other run in the inning came across on a wild pitch.
Travis Gates started on the mound and gave up just one run in the fourth, giving way to William Horn, who threw 3.2 scoreless innings to pick up the win.
Adrian Sanderford reached base three times with two hits and a walk. Magnett also had a pair of hits.
The Badgers win keeps them within one game behind Bradshaw Mountain in the Grand Canyon Region standings. Prescott will play at Greenway in a non-region contest on Monday at 3pm.

The Bears scored twice in the top of the seventh to beat the Eagles in Flagstaff.
Bradshaw Mountain scored two in the top of the fifth to tie the game at three after falling behind 2-1 in the first inning.
Garison Jones had three hits including double and an RBI. Ty Young and Dylan Lockwood knocked in the other two earned runs.
Dylan Reid pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win as Isaiah Avila closed the game out in the bottom of the seventh to pick up the save.

Wickenburg Christian Academy at Trinity Christian
The Warriors won their fourth straight to improve to (7-1) on the season with a 3-2 extra inning win over the Wickenburg Christian Academy Lions.
Ethan Brenner had two hits including an RBI double and Carson Matlock had the other RBI for Trinity Christian.
Josh Partin had two hits and scored a run and also pitched three scoreless innings to pick up the win.
The Warriors will host AZ Compass Prep on Monday at 6pm.
