On February 3, the City of Prescott Utilities Division will begin draining water from the tank in Acker Park to make necessary repairs. This will increase the amount of water flowing into the Penn Street Stormwater Basin.
Once the tank is empty, the work will begin and should be completed by March 1, 2025. When work is complete, the tank will be refilled. There is no danger to the drinking water system.

If memory serves me right, that tank was totally redone less than 3 years ago. Will the original contractor be held to account for the cost of this repair?
